Étoile Tech began the way most useful things do — with neighbours asking for a hand. A printer that would not connect. A phone full of photos with nowhere to put them. A small business running its invoicing out of a shoebox and a spreadsheet.
What became clear is that most people do not need more technology. They need someone to sit beside them, translate it into plain English, and leave them able to do it themselves next time. That is the whole practice: unhurried, personal, local.
Sessions happen in the evenings and at weekends, at your table or over a screen share, anywhere in Sausalito and the wider Marin area. You will always deal with the same person, and you will always know what something costs before it starts.
Patience first
There is no such thing as a silly question here. If something needs explaining four times, we explain it four times — and then write it down.
Nothing sold to you
No upselling, no software you do not need, no subscriptions you will forget to cancel. If the free option is the right one, that is the one you get.
Your data stays yours
Passwords are handled in front of you and never kept. Anything I see on your machine stays between us.
